For most Nigerians, getting a visa to visit a friend or go on holiday in another country can be a lot of headaches. Despite the Nigerian passport’s easy access to about 50 countries in the world, the passport is still rated weak in the immigration circle. The Henley Passport Index ranks Nigerian Passport as 95 in the world, just ahead of only a dozen others. For many Nigerians who are hungry to explore the world, how to break the visa jinx and enjoy vacations without worries are top questions on their mind; some will even pay a hefty sum to break the code.

Today at 12 noon, Afro Tourism will be hosting a Master Class on how Nigerians Can Maximize their Green Passport. The Master Class is part of this year’s Social Media Week. It holds at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The section will show the audience the intricacies of getting a visa, as well as where to go without the stress of getting visas.

Three well-travelled Nigerians, Tosin Oyewole, Chiamaka Ifediora and Chidera Muoka, will share their experiences travelling with their Nigerian passports, they will give further tips on how to budget for each trip.

The Afro Tourism team has also prepared goodie-bags for participants who contribute meaningfully to the discussion.
