THE Zimbabwe Tourism Authority have released the event schedule for the eagerly anticipated biggest street party in Southern Africa, the Harare International Carnival which is making a return after a hiatus last in 2016.

Repackaged with a new title sponsor to boot, the event which will now be known as BIG TIME HARARE INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL will take place from the 1st of September to the 10th of September 2017. A series of pre-event activities starting from August 1, 2017 have been lined up by the ZTA across the country as a build to the official event.

The ZTA announced the return of the carnival through an official statement on July 6, 2017. Two days later, July 8, 2017 the official carnival launch party took place at Takashinga Cricket Club, Highfields.
