Two important global personalities in the tourism world: Alain St. Ange, the former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine of Seychelles, along with the current Minister of Tourism of Jamaica, Edmund Bartlett were both honoured at ongoing ITB Berlin. 

The two men both received the Lifetime Achievement awards at the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) International Travel Awards during ITB Berlin 2023.

Both Alain St. Ange and Edmund Bartlett were singled out for their successful lifelong journey in tourism and for their continued innovation in destination marketing and their ability to maneouver on the world stage in the positioning of their respective countries as successful tourism destination. 

Former Minister St. Ange and Minister Bartlett were both congratulated for being recognized as World Tourism Leaders.
