The new tourism consultant for Ghana Tourism, Alain St. Ange paid a courtesy call at the Team Ghana Stand at ITB Berlin 2023. Led by Ben Anane-Nsiah, the Deputy CEO (General Services) and Agnes Yeboah Badu, the Principal Marketing Officer, Team Ghana welcomed the well-respected St. Ange, who was recently appointed as Ghana’s new consultant to the country’s stand in the Africa Hall to discuss tourism and how Africa was faring in the post-Covid era.

St. Ange who was appointed following what was referred to as an open ‘competitive bidding’ process was at ITB 2023 on a fact finding mission to support his consultancy mission. He was well known to Ben Anane-Nsiah, the Deputy CEO (General Services) of Ghana and both enjoyed meeting each other again and exchanged experiences on tourism and discussed expectations of the discerning travellers.ย
The Ghana consultant also met and discussed with members of Ghana’s private sector trade who were present on the Stand in Berlin. Kwame Ansong, the CEO of Sunseekers Tours Ltd and George Ayisi, the Head of Sales for Labadi Beach Hotel were two private sector trade members from Ghana who met with St. Ange and promised to meet again in Ghana itself for more discussions.
The Ghana Stand at ITB 2023 and received a continuous flow of travel trade visitors eager to discover more information about the West Africa Tourism hotspot.
