Considering the high risk of terrorism in Egypt, tourists are advised to exercise discretion when boarding taxis to get around town. Many of the cabs don’t have meters, while those that have meters have a way of manipulating it; so it’s advisable to negotiate prices before boarding. If you don’t mind walking around the city, then you can sure have a ball; trust us, you’ll love the experience.
