Popping the Question in Praslin, Seychelles…

Praslin is the second largest of the 115 islands that make up the Seychelles archipelago, but that is not what makes this destination stand out.

Apart from being one of the favourite honeymoon destinations in the world, some of the beaches on Praslin like Anse Lazio

and Anse Geogette have been voted among the best beaches in the world.

For enthusiasts, Praslin is the only place in Seychelles where you can enjoy a round of golf on an 18-hole championship course at the Lemuria Golf Course.

Also, Praslin is home to the lush Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the iconic coco de mer, grows. It was once suggested that this spot may have been the Garden of Eden because of the coco de mer, also known as the double coconut or love coconut, assumed to be the forbidden fruit.

Imagine sharing a double coconut with your loved one, and suddenly he drops to his knees, offer you a ring and pops the question… will that be forbidden or considered a sin?  Why not hop along to Praslin and find out for yourself!
