What a great week it has been! We have been island hopping in Seychelles. It’s amazing to learn culture through food.

If you’re looking to shed a few pounds off your waists and hips, here’s a simple, yet tasty meal that doesn’t add more than should.

If you’re hungry like I am, whip out your cooking utensils, let’s get cooking.

Preparation Information

Prep Time: 16-20 minutes

Cook time: 11-15 minutes

Serve: 4

  • Smoked fish sliced smoked marlin 1 cup
  • Spring onion greens chopped 2-3 stalks
  • raw mango peeled and sliced into thin fingers ½
  • medium tomato seeded and sliced into thin fingers 1
  • medium onion sliced 1
  • fresh passion fruit 3 teaspoons
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • extra virgin olive oil 2 teaspoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • lemon slices 2-3 to dec
  • Half a pineapple, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp of chopped parsley


Step 1

Mix together smoked fish, spring onion greens, raw mango, pineapple tomatoes and onions in a bowl.

Step 2

Drizzle the passion fruit, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper powder and mix well.

Step 3

Transfer onto a serving plate, decorate with lemon slices and chopped parsley and serve immediately.
