China is a swimming pool of opportunities, this is why everyone is going to the Asian Giant to have a dip. If you wish to expand your business, source goods at rock-bottom prices from global standard producers, learn Chinese, experience Chinese hospitality, tour glorious, ancient architectures and monument, see splendid landscapes – just name it, you’ll be wrong if you are not thinking of a trip to China right now. Today, China is like a ‘cute sweet 16’ that every suitor wants, and those who visit for business or holiday always return feeling like they’ve won a bride. If you are ready to travel to China, don’t let a visa frustrate you. Here is your sure way to get Chinese visa.

China has a wide range of visa categories. The table at the end of this post contains all of them.

To apply for a Chinese Visa, however, you’ll need the following document

Note: these documents are for the ‘M’ visa category. Similar documents are required for other visa categories.

  1. An international passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity and with blank visa pages, a coloured photocopy of the passport’s data page and the photo page if it is separate
  2. A recent passport photograph
  3. A completed Visa Application Form – fill the form online, then print it out and sign it.
  4. Letter of invitation by a trade partner/host in China
  5. Chinese Identity Card of the trade partner/host who is in China
  6. Applicant’s statement of account (6 months)
  7. Verifiable/confirmed Flight and Hotel booking.

Once you have these documents and the requisite letter is prepared in the format prescribed by the Chinese embassy, you are good to go. All you have left to do is to book an appointment and then go for the submission on the date of your appointment.
