If you need a job in Canada, this might just be your chance. The province of New Brunswick is organizing job fair in different cities across the world to recruit professionals.

This job fair is not an open event. To attend, you must apply. The application process is essentially online. Some of the required information needed for the application includes education qualification, age, work experience and financial details. Only applicants who meet the potential employer’s requirements are invited to the fair by email.

For immigration purposes, applicants are required to provide proof of Language proficiency, e.g. IELTS, TEF, TCF etc., at least a post Secondary School Certificate, proof of previous work experience (e.g. letters of reference, tax document) and sufficient fund.

The Session will be in French and English with complete information about visiting, living, working, starting a business or studying in Canada. You can meet representatives from the education, tourism, business and immigration sectors from New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, who will be onsite to answer your questions. Officers from the ‘IRCC’ will also be available to provide information on temporary and permanent residence in Canada.

Step by step process

  • Ensure you have the required minimum education qualification (ECA report), language skills, and travel fund. Then, complete the online form and upload your CV for consideration.
  • Your documents and application will be forwarded to certain Canadian employers for jobs consideration.
  • You will be sent a mail inviting you to the event if you meet the required criteria.
  • You will be able to meet employers in job fair held in the selected country/region.
  • Once you get a job offer from the employer, you will be told to apply for a relevant visa category.
  • You can also ask further questions from the immigration officers available during this event.
