The National Museum of Music in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso was once the center for development of African architecture and urban planning. Since then it was renovated and revamped to accommodate the more precious museum. The storey building; which is the museum stands vehemently at the center of the city, thus guaranteeing the much needed accessibility. This National Museum of Music holds some of the greatest musical and traditional instruments which are part of the diverse communities in Burkina Faso and which are in use even today. The culture of the community through music is well portrayed by this massive museum including membranophones, idiophones, chordophones, aero phones and many more others.
